The Embedded System Design (ESD) project attempts to create a development environment for designing embedded circuits. Being able to completely design and develop an embedded circuit with out any hardware involvment is the vision of ESD.

The project started off with simulating some families of processors like M68000, M68HC11, Z80, 8051, PICs, etc. as a part of academic curriculum for undergraduate students. Here is the course description.
