ESD v1.4.2 has more package support. An 8-bit RAM name 'sram8' is also added to the accessories.

ESD v1.4 has new modules added, like an LED seven segment display and a JTAG debugger, along with a little improvement in the core design. This version is even numbered because it is much more stable than the previous versions.

ESD v1.3 has a GUI that displays the circuit diagram. The executable still takes the connection file input at the command prompt as earlier.

We tried to rectify some of bugs in previous version. The speed of execution has been greatly enhanced by eliminating thread sleeps. Go to the downloads page for the latest version.

A chip was assigned to a team of three students and they were responsible of programming a pin level simulation. They were also advised to buy the chip to study its functionality.

After studying some of the MAME's source code we decided to create a design utility for embedded systems. We started with investigating various processors supported by GCC. From the list of microprocessors and micro controllers supported we started digging out some simple processors.

Inspired by Multiple Arcade Machine Emulation (MAME), we started with an idea of creating few processor simulations which would eventually be integrated into a design tool that would enable user to simulate the design of an embedded circuit.
