I will be the head lab TA for the 371 labs this semester. I will be in contact with all 371 lab TAs to discuss the labs in advance and resolve any problems that may arise. I would like you to consider ECE L371 a learning experience from both a hardware and software point of view.
Probably the most important thing to remember to insure positive results is to do the PRELAB. That means reading the lab description, drawing a schematic (if appropriate), and writing your program BEFORE you come to class. Prior semesters of ECE L371 may have experienced a lack of importance given to PRELAB efforts, however I can assure you that this will NOT be the case this semester. Most of the labs are long and complex and require that you do a considerable amount of work before arriving in order to successfully complete to lab assignment in the time allotted.
Please feel free to contact me. I will post my office hours as soon as they become available. Also, please email me if , when:-), you find errors in this on-line version of the lab manual. Please try to be specific as to where the error is. Thanks!
